Hardware in the Computer Center

	This is Foma. This is the computer where you send and receive your email.
	This is the computer that you call in to get your grades over the phone. This computer also gives you your grades over the web.
	This is our modem rack. This accepts calls for PPP internet access and telnet access. Most ISP's have a similar device like this. There are 32 modems in our rack.
	This is a network switch. This is an intermediate step going from your computer to one of the servers in the computer center. When we set up your computer in the dorms we come here first to "turn on the internet" in your room.
	These are gateways. These two gateways route all incoming and outgoing internet traffic to the campus.

These are four of our servers on campus.

News Server - handles usenet connections and is our secondary DNS Server

WWW1 - this computer serves our Internal webpage

Proxy - this computer is our proxy server. It is a huge cache of visited websites to make your browsing faster

WWW - this is the primary DNS Server, it also serves our external webpage

These two computers handle every single piece of email that goes in and out of our campus.

This is Wisdom. This computer is the main administrative computer this computer hold all your academic records, billing information etc...

This is also the server where all the faculty and staff send and receive their email.
